Very good food. Ready in 10 minutes. Great portions. Very good drinks, they have home made teas and lemonade. Soft drinks as well. Chinese food, subs, sandwiches. Fries, burgers and chicken nuggets. Reasonable prices!!

Love the chicken wings at this place. I haven't tasted anything else from Eddies. But the chicken wings with mambo sauce is good. I will eventually try other items and edit this review. But for now...did I say the wings are great1

A lot of food for the price. Pretty good taste. I'll go there when it's late - it's open past other Monkey Village chinese places.

I love Eddie's!!!! Good food extremely reasonable prices!!! The half and half is the best non alcoholic drink I've ever had and the steak and cheese is so big it last for 2 days!!!! If you're hungry and in Montgomery Village for a good satisfying meal go to Eddie's!!!

Great prices for the portion size. The cheesesteak is huge (so you know, I totally ate two) and the fries are great. Avoid the chicken in mambo sauce...it's basically fried chicken wings with that weird red sauce you get at Chinese resturants. All in all, not bad. Not my favorite place, but it's close to my house and I'll totally hit it up when I don't feel like cooking.

This place has a similar menu to Kenny's Sub Shop but slightly cheaper. We thought we'd give it a try. We ordered the fried jumbo shrimp platter which consists of 8 shrimps and fries. We also ordered a small chicken fried rice and a homemade lemonade. Just in general, this place is not as good as Kenny's. The fried rice was super greasy and bland. It doesn't have as much ingredients as other chinese take outs. The chicken looked super white and it made me question whether it's real chicken. The fried rice had bean sprouts, onion and chicken that's it, no peas or carrots. The fries were soggy - not impressed. The fried shrimp were ok. The lemonade needs to be colder. I like how Kenny's has it partially frozen so the lemonade is always super cold. I find it interesting how the lady keyed in the prices with tax included. It caught me off guard since the $7.50 shrimp platter was keyed in as $7.95 and the small chicken fried rice was keyed in at $5.19 vs $4.90. Maybe they didn't know how to program the calculation of taxes in the register OR are they just doing shady business? Anyhow I felt really sick afterwards. Must have been all that grease. I will not be returning.

The prices are amazing, especially for the portion size. Food is good. Not the best Chinese you'll ever eat, but good & reliable. They always get my custom order right too.

Finally...the 'HOOD has come to Mo' Village! Or maybe Mo' Village has come to the 'HOOD! One of my regular customers said there's two things you can always get in the 'hood. You can get your hair done and you can get great Chinese carryout. Eddie's is a living, breathing exemplar of gentrification in Mo' County. Places like Eddie's used to be located solely in the deepest, darkest, most dangerous corners of urban DC. Leave the club and purchase your wings and mumbo sauce at 2 AM from the terrified Chinese lady behind the bulletproof glass. Head briskly to your vehicle or cab and hope you don't get jacked. But now, there's a cheap giant sub mumbo sauce fried wing EVERYTHING place right in the Village. And how is it? It's friggin' A-W--E-S-O-M-E! Ordered chicken and cashew and everything was perfectly seasoned and the vegetables were CRISP! Also, Pupu platter blows away anything you could order from China King or Chinese Express or whatever. Spare ribs were MEATY and Wontons were perfectly filled with gooey creamy crap. Wings and egg roll were pretty average but I expected that. Minus a star because they don't deliver (but I expected that) so this is purely carry out. Ah hell, I'll give them back the star. ME LIKEY EDDIE'S! ME LIKEY EDDIE'S!

In town for a visit and heard about this place so I decided to try it. Yesterday I was charged for 15 wings but received only 10! Not happy.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
